Christian spiritual formation is intentional and communal. It requires our engagement through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. It is for the glory of God and the service to others and has its means and end the imitation of Christ.
Spiritual Formation as if the Church Mattered. James C. Wilhoit.
Spiritual formation is our continuing response to the reality of God’s grace shaping us into the likeness of Jesus Christ, through the work of the Holy Spirit, in the community of faith, for the sake of the world.
Life in the Spirit: Spiritual Formation in Theological Perspective. Edited, Jeffrey Greenman and George Kalantzis.
Everyone is in a process of being shaped and formed by the decision we make, the action we take, and the response we have in the relationships and circumstances we encounter daily. Whether we are conscious of it or not, whether we are intentional or not, our perspective and value are influenced by the media, significant people and culture or tradition we immerse ourselves in. So, what is forming you? Who are you becoming?
One Path will collaborate with you to design a pathway that is tailored to you and your community. We will introduce you to soulful pathways that facilitate moving beyond the conventional views and provide direction toward habituation.
Important elements included in these workshops are intentional spiritual practices, experiential encounter, community component, and the integration process. There will always be the process of information, transformation and formation in each workshop session.
Special package program/curriculum are available. We believe that every context is different and hence often require mutual conversation and discernment to designing a program that is best suited to your needs. Wherever possible, we can work on integrating the most appropriate components for your group.
